Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Upon Arrival at Cairo International Airport you will be welcomed by Santa Maria Tours representative who will meet you and assist you through customs formalities. Afterwards you will be escorted to your hotel by A/C private Coaches.
Day 2: Cairo / Aswan
After breakfast, we will start the day tour by paying our respects to the Sphinx, the great lion sentinel of the plateau with its craved body of a lion and the headdress of the Pharaohs. We then visit the 3 pyramids of the Plateau of kings Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. In the evening we’ll board the Overnight train to Aswan. (Breakfast)
Day 3: Aswan / Nile Cruise
Meet & Assist in Aswan train station by Santa Maria Tours representative; upon arrival you will be escorted to your Nile Cruise Ship where you will spend the next 3 nights / 4 days. Embarkation, Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae Dedicated to the goddess Isis. Back to our ship. Check-in & Overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4: Aswan/ Kom Ombo/ Edfu
After breakfast. Board a graceful felucca to sail among the island in the Nile. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Edfu and Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5: Edfu/ Esna/ Luxor
Visit the temple of Horus in Edfu, Said to be the best preserved temple on the Nile. Sail to Esna, Cross the lock. Sail to Luxor and Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6: Luxor / Cairo
Disembarkation after breakfast. Cross to the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and Colossi of Memnon, then transfer to Aswan train to board the overnight train to Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 7: Cairo
Meet & Assist in Cairo train Station, visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaohs artifacts, Later, tour to the oldest part of the city, Know as Coptic Cairo , originally a Roman fortress town called ‘’Babylon”. Visit the hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga and Ben Ezra Synagogue. End of the day visit the Bazaar of Khan El Khalili, Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 8: Departure from Cairo
After your Breakfast you will be transfer to Cairo airport for your flight back home. (Breakfast) |
