Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Santa Maria Tours welcomes you to the timeless land of the Pharaohs, a treasure of history and antiquities. On arrival in Cairo Airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo
Today we start a Full-day outing to a city rich in wonders and mysteries, Egypt's capital and Africa's largest city is a mesmerizing mix of sights, sounds and ancient monuments. Drive to the Giza Plateau, where your qualified Egyptologist guide will provide a detailed introduction to each of the Three Pyramids: Cheops, Khafre and Menakaure, and their guardian, the Sphinx. Back to hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 3: Cairo / St. Catherine
Head east this morning. After driving through the tunnel under the Suez Canal, look out for the huge cargo ships as they negotiate this famous waterway. Continuing south proceed to visit Moses Springs cross the Sinai Peninsula to St. Catherine where there is a time to relax before an optional ascent of Sinai Mountain. Overnight in St.Catherine Camp. Day 4: St. Catherine / Nuweiba
Early morning we descend Sinai Mountain heading St. Catherine Monastery, The monastery has one of the largest collections of ancient illuminated manuscripts in the world, and after wards we take our ride departing one of the most stunning beaches, Nuweiba, The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the relaxing ambience on the beach. Overnight in Nuweiba. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 5 - 6: Nuweiba
More 2 days to enjoy the sun, sand, sea and activities available in Nuweiba: windsurfing, sailing, deep-sea fishing, swimming, but above all, snorkeling and diving. Are also available in this charming city. Overnight in Nuweiba. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 7: Nuweiba / Suez
Check-out from our hotel in Nuweiba, pack our bags back and depart for Suez. Arrive Suez check-in and overnight. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 8: Suez / Hurghada
Morning, take the bus and depart for Hurghada. Stop to visit St. Paul's considered to be the oldest Christian monastery in the world, dating back to the 4th Century Hidden deep in the Red Sea Mountains. Proceed to Hurghada, arrive Hurghada, check-in our hotel and overnight. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 9: Hurghada
Enjoy a shiny morning on the beach, or a relaxing time viewing the many fish on the glass bottom boat, night is full activities in this fascinating city where you’re having an incalculable activities to be done, shopping, dancing in one of many night clubs in Hurghada. Overnight in Hurghada. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 10: Hurghada / Luxor
Pack your Luggage & check-out leaving Hurghada returning back to the ancient heritage, towards Luxor, our afternoon tour will start visiting East bank including, Luxor Temple which was one of the festival centers in ancient Egypt & may be the most important, we then continue to visit the Karnak Temple, was known as Ipet-isut (Most select of places) by the ancient Egyptians, you're at leisure until the night Overnight in Luxor. (Breakfast)
Day 11: Luxor
Morning, pay a visit to the West bank including, the Valley of Kings , Valley of Queens, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty, Stop for pictures at the Colossi of Memnon, which are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Your evening is at leisure overnight in Luxor. (Breakfast)
Day 12: Luxor / Esna / Edfu / Aswan
Bid farewell to this fascinating city, focusing Aswan, first stop will be in Edfu to visit Horus Temple. The temple is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and was built in the period from 237 BC to 57 BC, & also a second stop at Kom Ombo to explore the Temple of Kom Ombo., The temple is unique because it is in fact a double temple, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed God. Continue to Aswan where we spend the evening and Overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast)
Day 13: Aswan
Start our tour in Aswan, visiting the High Dam, an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. After observe the grand Unfinished Obelisk in the ancient quarries. Situated on the river Nile as well as the Philae Temple. Complete our day by sailing in a traditional Felucca around Aswan’s botanic gardens. Overnight in Aswan.(Breakfast)
Day 14: Aswan / Cairo
Early Morning, travel by bus to visit the mighty Sun Temple of Abu Simbel, flanked by four giant stone statues of Ramses II and the smaller Temple of Hathor. The temple was reclaimed from the dam and reconstructed in its present and unforgettable location. Back to Aswan. Afternoon transfer to Aswan train station for taking the first class sitting train back to Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 15: Cairo
Arriving Giza railway station, where you will be met and assisted by Santa Maria Tours representative, then you will be escorted to the hotel for check in and breakfast. Today we will discover the Egyptian Museum where our guide will take us back to ancient Egypt and the time of the Pharaohs, see the amazing treasure recovered from the Tomb of Tutankhamun. Later, visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, with its panoramic view of the city and then visit Mohammed Ali the alabaster mosque. After visit Christian Heritage; Discover the ancient sites of Coptic Christians including the Hanging church one of the oldest churches in Egypt, & St.Serguis, one of the places where the Holy Family rested after fleeing Israel from King Herod & Jewish Heritage represented in Ben Ezra Synagogue. At your last night you have some leisurely free time to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, you'll enjoy free time to stroll through the maze of streets and bargain for a souvenir of your trip. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 16: Departure Cairo
Check out and at the end of your memorable trip, Santa Maria Tours representative will transfer you to Cairo airport for your final departure with memories that will stay alive forever.
