Today’s sightseeing visits include the most important and historical ancient sites in Cairo Giza Plateau, your Egyptologist will introduce you the three Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos from outside, after you will have time to enter inside each Pyramid (additional cost), a short drive to the other side of the plateau you will find their inscrutable guardian, the enigmatic Sphinx. After you will have time to visit the Solar Boat (optional) one of the best Egyptians finds since Tutankhamun’s tomb.
After we will explore the ancient sites and culture of Coptic Christians through Old Cairo. Visit the Hanging Church that was built into the walls of the water gate of the Roman fortress and is possibly the oldest Christian church in Egypt. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is one of Cairo's most beautiful churches. Continue to the Monastery and Church of St George this is not an old church, dating from 1909, but there has been a church in Coptic Cairo dedicated to the Martyr since the 10th-century. It is one of the few remaining circular churches in the Middle East. Our next stop will be in Abu Serga Church, one of the places where the Holy Family rested after fleeing Israel from King Herod. Then continue to Ben Ezra Synagogue is one of the oldest in Egypt.
