Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Arrival in Land of Pharaohs. At Cairo International airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs by Santa Maria Tours representative, then escorted to your hotel.  Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo
Today’s sightseeing visits include the three pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, with their inscrutable guardian, the enigmatic Sphinx.  Drive to Sakkara to visit the step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest pyramid in the world. Back to Hotel and overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)

Day 3: Cairo
Today we start our full day tour visiting the Egyptian Museum of antiquities, the largest precious collection of Egyptian art around the world, which Includes the treasures of the Boy King Tutankhamun enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years ago before it was discovered in the 1920s. Then discover the oldest part of the city, Know as Coptic Cairo, originally a Roman fortress town called ‘’Babylon”. Visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Back to Hotel and overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)

Day 4: Cairo
After breakfast proceed to visit the Giza Zoo one of the most beautiful in the world and the most densely inhabited by the various animal and plant species.  On 1891, the Zoo at Giza was opened for the public. In addition to the numerous animals in the garden, there is a museum which was built in 1906. It consists of three big halls exhibiting large groups of Egyptian and foreign embalmed birds, reptiles, fish and animals as well as skeletons. There are also two other halls exhibiting various kinds of animals reptiles and birds skins. An embalming factory is located behind the museum for such purposes. Back to hotel. Overnight in Cairo. Day 5: Cairo/ Alexandria
After breakfast, we take the desert road towards Alexandria, Egypt’s major port and historically associated with Alexander the Great, Cleopatra and Napoleon.  We will start our visit by visiting the Alexandria National Museum then visit the white Marble Roman Amphitheatre the only one of its kind in Egypt. Also we will visit the Catacomb of Kom Elshokafa, Montazah Palace Gardens, which combine Turkish and Florentine architectural styles. Check-in our hotel in Alexandria and overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 6: Alexandria/ Wadi el Natrun/ Cairo
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and visit Alexandria Library the meeting point of the three continents, Asia, Africa and Europe. After, we Leave Alexandria as you travel back to Cairo on the desert road. We stop in Wadi el Natrun, situated in a valley dotted with oases. Visit some OF the four quietly inhabited Monasteries of the Coptic Monasteries of this area and learn about Coptic faith. Arrive to Cairo, Check-in to our hotel & Overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 7: Fayoum Wadi el Rayan/ Wadi Hitan 4x4
Today it is a day trip from Cairo to the Fayoum region where we head for the Wadi el Rayan Protected Area, which surrounds a fresh-water lake in the middle of the desert, filled by the remaining irrigation water from the Fayoum area. There are several waterfalls here, and a bird hide which gives good views of the lakes birdlife, particularly in the winter months when the lake is an important stop for migrating water-birds. We also visit the Springs Oasis area, a rare example of an uninhabited Saharan oasis, and host to many different plants and animals, including Dorcas Gazelle, Ruppell’s Sand Fox and Fennec Fox.

Then we drive into the stunning desert & mountain scenery of Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales). This World Heritage Site is accepted as the most significant site in the world to demonstrate the evolution of whales, and we take a 2-3km walk here to see several specimens of fossilised whales of different types sitting on the surface of the sand, as well as fossilised mangroves and the remains of crab holes. Back to Hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 8: Cairo
After Breakfast, Santa Maria Tours representative will transfer you to Cairo Airport and assist you for final departure. (Breakfast)
