Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Arrival in Land of Pharaohs. At Cairo International airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs by Santa Maria Tours representative, then escorted to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo
Today’s sightseeing visits include the three pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, with their inscrutable guardian, the enigmatic Sphinx. Drive to Sakkara to visit the step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest pyramid in the world. Back to Hotel and overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 3: Cairo / Aswan
Today we start our full day tour visiting the Egyptian Museum of antiquities, the largest precious collection of Egyptian art around the world, which Includes the treasures of the Boy King Tutankhamun enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years ago before it was discovered in the 1920s. Then discover the oldest part of the city, Know as Coptic Cairo, originally a Roman fortress town called ‘’Babylon”. Visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. In the evening we transfer to Giza train station to board the sleeping train to Aswan. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4: Aswan
Upon arrival you will be escorted to your Nile Cruise Ship where you will spend the next 3 nights / 4 days. Embarkation, visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis. Back to our ship. Check-in & Overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5: Aswan/ Kom Ombo/ Edfu
Early Morning sail to Kom Ombo Visit the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile. Sail to Edfu & Ovrnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6: Edfu / Esna / Luxor
Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, Said to be the best preserved temple on the Nile. Sail to Esna. Cross the lock. Sail to Luxor and Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7: Luxor / Cairo
Disembarkation after breakfast. Cross to the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, the funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon, then transfer to Luxor train Station for departing to Cairo by sleeper train. Overnight in Sleeper train. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 8: Cairo
Meet & Assist, Then we will visit the Citadel of Salah El Din for breathtaking views of the city. Salah El Din started the Citadel in the 12th century, but it owes its present outline to Mohamed Ali who built the Alabaster Mosque, which we will see. In the late afternoon visit to the famous Khan El Khalili market. Back to hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 9: Cairo / Alexandria
After breakfast, we take the desert road towards Alexandria, Egypt’s major port and historically associated with Alexander the Great, Cleopatra and Napoleon. We will start our visit by visiting Alexandria National Museum then visit the white Marble Roman Amphitheatre the only one of its kind in Egypt. Also we will visit the Catacomb of Kom Elshokafa, Montazah Palace Gardens, which combine Turkish and Florentine architectural styles and Alexandria Library the meeting point of the three continents, Asia, Africa and Europe. Check-in our hotel in Alexandria and overnight. (Breakfast)
Day 10: Alexandria / Cairo
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel towards African Safari Park on the Cairo-Alexandria highway. We will tour by our car to see the exotic wildlife through a real jungle where you can live a full excitement experience. Later we drive back across the desert to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 11: Departure Cairo
Breakfast. You will be met by our representative and Transfer to Cairo Airport where you will be helped for check-in and immigration formalities for your flight back home. (Breakfast)
