Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Welcome to Egypt! You are met and assisted on arrival at Cairo Airport by Santa Maria Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and begin exploring this fascinating city. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo
Today’s sightseeing visits include the three pyramids of kings Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, with their inscrutable guardian, the enigmatic Sphinx. Drive to Sakkara to visit the step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest pyramid in the world. Then continue to Memphis Ancient Egypt’s old capital and view the statue of Ramses II. Back to hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)

Day 3: Wadi El Natrun
Travel on the desert road toward Alexandria into the Wadi Natrun. Where still four Coptic monasteries are inhabited: Attendance in one of the monasteries and meeting with coptischen Christians and the monk community. Return trip to old Cairo, Tour Old Cairo. Visit sites like Synagogue of Ben Ezra, El Muallaqa Church, where the Virgin Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus took refuge. After visit the Church of St. Sergius and the Coptic Museum, the Christian past and present of the country represented. Back to hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)

Day 4: Cairo/Aswan
Check out from hotel at morning then transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Arrival to Aswan, meet & assist by Santa Maria Tours representative Embarkation, Visit the Monastery of St. Simeon one of the best preserved Coptic monasteries, history of the monastery dates back to the 7th century, and survived long as a Christian stronghold of southern Egypt until destroyed by Saladin in 1173. Back to our ship, Check-in. After noon, board a graceful felucca to sail among the island in the Nile. Overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5: Aswan/ Kom Ombo/ Edfu
Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Edfu and Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6: Edfu/ Esna/ Luxor
Visit the temple of Horus in Edfu, said to be the best preserved temple on the Nile. Sail to Esna, Cross the lock. Sail to Luxor and Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7: Luxor
Disembarkation after breakfast. Cross to the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor airport fly to Cairo upon arrival meet and assist transfer to your hotel for overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)  

Day 8: Cairo
After breakfast, start your tour with the Egyptian Museum where our guide will take us to the ancient time of Pharaohs where you can see the splendid treasure of Tutankhamun, including his priceless burial mask. After Leave to Matarya visit St. Mary’s tree for the Family is believed to have rested in its shade. Here, too, the Infant Jesus caused water to flow from a spring, from which He drank and blessed, and in which the Virgin washed His clothes. She poured the washing water on to the ground, and from that spot, the fragrant balsam plant blossomed. Drive to Zeitoun, Visit St .Mary’s Church where she appeared on April 1968. In the late afternoon visit to the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar. Back to hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 9: Cairo
After your Breakfast you will be transfer to Cairo airport for your flight back home. (Breakfast)
