Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Arrival to Cairo Airport, Santa Maria Tours representative will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you. From the airport you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo
Breakfast. Visit the Great Pyramids Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx-a huge funeral complex guarded by legendary lion body with the face of King Chephren. After proceed to the famous Khan El Khalili bazzar. In the late afternoon you will be escorted to the Cairo Railway Station to board the Night sleeping train to Aswan. (Breakfast)
Day 3: Aswan
Meet & Assist in Aswan train station, transfer to your hotel for check in. Visit the High Dam and the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis and the Unfinished Obelisk. Back to hotel, overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast)
Day 4:Aswan / Luxor
Early Morning, there is a once in a life time opportunity to take an optional excursion to the mighty Sun Temple of Abu Simbel, Flanked by four giant stone statues of Ramses II. The temple was reclaimed from the dam and reconstructed in its present and unforgettable location. Back to Aswan. Later we join a Felucca Cruise to view the Elephantine and Kitchener Islands on Nile. After transfer by private A/C coach to Luxor. Arrive Luxor transfer to your hotel and overnight. (Breakfast)
Day 5: Luxor / Cairo
After breakfast. Cross to the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, the funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. After we will visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. Then transfer to Luxor train Station to board the night sleeping train to Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 6: Cairo
Meet & Assist in Cairo train station, Start our tour by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaohs artifacts, later, tour old Cairo. Visit sites like Synagogue of Ben Ezra, El Mallakh Church, Where the Virgin Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus took refuge. After visit the Church of St. Sergius Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 7: Alexandria
This morning we drive through the desert, arriving to Alexandria, Egypt’s major port and historically associated with Alexander the Great, Cleopatra and Napoleon. We will visit the Pompy’s Pillar that was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletain. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesareum. After visit the Catacombs of Kom el-Shuqafa the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt. Procced to the white marble Roman Amphitheatre the only one of its kind in Egypt. Montazah palace Garden. Back to Cairo. (Breakfast)
Day 8: Cairo
Breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure. (Breakfast)
