Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Santa Maria Tours welcomes you to the timeless land of the Pharaohs, a treasure of history and antiquities. On arrival in Cairo Airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo / Aswan
Today we start our full day tour visiting the Egyptian Museum of antiquities, the largest precious collection of Egyptian art around the world, which Includes the treasures of the Boy King Tutankhamoun enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years ago before it was discovered in the 1920s. After we will visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, see Giza Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos and enjoy the magic of the Sphinx, Continue to the village of Harania with its real art and crafts. Afternoon transfer to Giza train station for taking the sleeping train back to Aswan. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 3: Aswan
Arriving Aswan railway station, where you will be met and assisted by Santa Maria Tours representative, then you will be escorted to the hotel for check in. Today we will visit the Kalabsha Temple that have been relocated to avoid the rising waters of Lake Nasser caused by the construction of the Aswan High Dam,  the temple of beit El Wali  dedicated to Ramesses II, and the gods of Amun and Anukis and the Kiosk of Qertassi  a small elegant structure. In the afternoon we will visit the beautiful Nubian Museum. Proceed to the Nubian Villages situated at the bottom of Elephantine Island. We are going to discover the simple and natural life of the very kind and hospitable Nubian people and visit one of the houses for tea with local women. Back to hotel. Overnight in Aswan. Day 4: Aswan
Breakfast, check-out from our hotel. After you will be escorted to your Nile Cruise Ship where you will spend the next 3 nights / 4 days. Embarkation and check in before lunch. Lunch on board. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis. Overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5: Aswan/ Kom Ombo/ Edfu
After breakfast, Sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener’s Island.  Back to our Nile Cruise. Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile. Sail to Edfu and Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6: Edfu/ Esna/ Luxor
Visit the temple of Horus in Edfu, Said to be the best preserved temple on the Nile. Sail to Esna, Cross the lock. Sail to Luxor and Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7: Luxor
Disembarkation after breakfast. Cross to the West Bank. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and Colossi of Memnon. Check-in our hotel in Luxor and overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 8: Luxor/ Hurghada
We will visit the great Temples which provide an unforgettable introduction to ancient Egypt. Luxor temple & Karnak temple. Relax for the drive from Luxor to Hurghada (220K.m). On arrival to Hurghada you will be transferred to your hotel for check in. Overnight in Hurghada. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 9: Hurghada
Free day to dive, snorkel, enjoy the beach or take an excursion. Overnight in Hurghada. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 11: Hurghada /Cairo
Breakfast, Check out from hotel, drive by A/C coach back to Cairo. On the way back we will visit St.Paul Monastery; the Monastery probably dates to the fifth century. St. Paul renounced his inheritance and consecrated his life to God, where he is said to have lived until the age of one hundred and thirteen. Living in his cave, and clothed in a tunic made of plaited palm leaves, tradition holds that a raven brought a half of a loaf of bread each day for him to eat. Travel back to Cairo. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast)

Day 12: Cairo
Free day in Cairo. Or optional tour to the second capital of Egypt, Alexandria (The Pearl of the Mediterranean) Founded by Alexander the Great in 331 B.C.
In the evening you are invited to a family dinner in a local Egyptian home. You will learn about the outlook and way of life of your hosts. Back to hotel.  Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 13: Departure Cairo
Check out, Santa Maria Tours representative will transfer you to Cairo airport for your final departure with memories that will stay alive forever.
